Here is another excerpt from my upcoming special report for those in the wedding industry marketing to brides online: “99 Things Every Wedding Professional Needs to Know About Internet Marketing.”
What is Website Hosting?
Let’s say you wanted to build a house. The first thing you’d probably do is find the piece of land your house will be built on. The same idea applies when you build a website or a blog – you need a place for it. A hosting server is that place. The files and images that make up your website and/or blog sit on a hosting server. These hosting servers are very much like your PC. They have a hard drive, they have memory, they have software, and they are connected to the Internet. But unlike your PC, they are made specifically for hosting websites and blogs. To be more precise, they are made to deliver files and images and process requests (like an online inquiry form) that are requested by people who are at your website/blog. Hosting servers also typically host your email. If that’s the case, they play a dual role as a website hosting server and email server. There are thousands of companies that offer hosting services on the Internet.
If you’re not happy with the results you’re getting from your current website, or the results you’re getting from your Internet marketing, I can help. My clients read like a Who’s Who list of top ranked sites at Google and their websites turn the brides who visit into inquiries, phone calls, and sales. If you want to use the Internet more effectively and BOOK MORE WEDDINGS, drop me a line using the inquiry form below or call me at (866) 652-7791 x701.
I’ll follow-up promptly and look forward to the opportunity to speak with you.
