I love GMAIL and have been using it as my email client for about 4 years now.
What do I like most?
It’s free
SPAM protection/blocking/automatic filtering
Filtering and labeling
Works great with my iPhone
Integrates with my Google Calendar, prompts me for appointments via SMS/iPhone
GChat lets me chat online with my team and my clients (who use GMAIL)
A few of my clients have recently moved to GMAIL and while it’s not “perfect” (nothing ever is) it has made me much more productive.
Getting comfortable with it takes some time, but after a bit you’ll be saying to yourself “Wow, thanks Chris. That was a great suggestion.”
It’s not for everyone. But it may be worth looking at.
