In today’s fast-paced world it takes clarity and focus on high-leverage activities, activities that deliver the maximim impact towards your clearly defined goals and objectives.
Today, as I was reading this, I started thinking about Social Media Marketing.
You know, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.
While these tools do have a place in your overall Internet marketing plan, I’m quite confident telling you that if you are spending more than 2 hours per week with these “activities” you are not focusing on things that will give you the most results and get you closer to your goals and objectives faster.
Social media marketing does have appear to have a trickle-down impact and does appear to increase your overall online visibility.
The problem is it is difficult to measure the actual results you get and it is not an “immediate” type thing.
Social Media Marketing should compliment an otherwise solid and currently-being-executed Internet marketing plan that is integrated with your offline marketing plan.
