Google Analytics helps you analyze visitor activity at your website; what brides are doing when they visit (or NOT doing), what pages they are looking at, where your traffic is coming from, the quality of your traffic, and more.

Google Analytics also helps you find out what keywords attract your most desirable prospects, what advertising pulled the most responses, and what landing pages and content convert the best (i.e. inquiries or even sales).

Google Analytics is free. All you need is a Google Account, or GMAIL account, and you can set-up and install Google Analytics on your website. http://analytics.google.com

Letting Google know more about your website is always a good thing and when you install Google Analytics that’s exactly what you are doing. I’m not saying it’s a free pass to top rankings, but I’m guessing a lot of spam-junk-websites aren’t using Google Analytics.

Google Analytics gathers all kinds of data and while you’ll probably only scratch the surface of it, Google Analytics has all the features you’d expect from a high-end analytics program. Google Analytics also provides tightly integrated AdWords support (Google Sponsored advertising – pay-per-click), so you can view AdWords return-on-investment data very easily.

Google Analytics is easy to use, once you get over the initial feeling of “wow, there’s a lot of data here – what should I be looking for?”
