There is a lot of bad information flying around about Internet Marketing and marketing to brides online. I would say 95% of the people who contact me have wasted money and time on the Internet because they got bad advice or just didn’t understand something. Here is an excerpt from my upcoming special report for those in the wedding industry marketing to brides online “99 Things Every Wedding Professional Needs to Know About Internet Marketing.”
Facebook Won’t Directly Generate New Sales for Your Business
Facebook, Twitter, and virtually all of the other social media sites online are not going to be a good DIRECT source of new business for you. In other words, these tools (sometimes I call them “distractions”) are not going to generate a lot of new business for your company. Certainly not in the short term. These tools simply extend your online visibility, create or increase an “online credibility factor,” and compliment the process (i.e. sales process) of reaching potentially new customers. Anyone who tells you differently not seriously looking out for your bottom line. Don’t get me wrong, Facebook, Twitter, and blogging while marketing to brides online are all good things. Unfortunately, I see many Wedding Professionals spend a lot of time with social media but their return-on-investment falls short of expected. That same amount of time focused on activities that ACTUALLY GENERATE SALES is going to be a far better strategy and give you a much better and consistent ROI. I’m not saying don’t use Facebook, Twitter, or be actively blogging, but understand where you get the best return-on-investment for your time and money and spend time, money, and your efforts there.
If you’re not happy with the results you’re getting from your current website, or the results you’re getting from your Internet marketing, I can help. My clients read like a Who’s Who list of top ranked sites at Google and their websites turn the brides who visit into inquiries, phone calls, and sales. If you want to use the Internet more effectively and BOOK MORE WEDDINGS, drop me a line using the inquiry form below or call me at (866) 652-7791 x701.
I’ll follow-up promptly and look forward to the opportunity to speak with you.
