Avoid Cheap Website Hosting

Internet Marketing Fail #42: Cheap Website Hosting

I highly recommend that you think twice before using cheap hosting for your website, especially if you have over 1000 visitor sessions a month. These “$4.95/month hosting” programs are much more likely to have performance problems and also are at a much higher risk of security hacks. Remember, slow loading websites and slow loading pages are the number one reason people leave websites. If you’re going to go to the time, effort, and expense to build a website for your business, it doesn’t make sense to host it on a platform that delivers anything less than a high-performance, user-friendly experience for your visitors. If that’s not reason enough, Google is now evaluating page load times as part of its ranking algorithm. That’s right, slow loading websites are harder to get top ranked at Google. High-performance, high-reliability, high-security website hosting probably will cost you between $30 and $50/month. I also recommend that you only host with hosting companies that offer 24/7/365 LIVE PERSON support. I would take a look at HostGator’s VPS Level 3 with 768MB of RAM and CPanel, at $49.95/month.
