Q&A with Chris Jaeger, Marketing to Brides Online

Q: Chris, how important is Facebook as part of our overall Internet Marketing?

A: Social media, Facebook, Twitter, and even blogging, is a very important part of your overall Internet Marketing strategy.

By itself it is not an effective way to marketing and promote your business. Certainly, you don’t have to use these Internet marketing tools, but you’ll be at a significant disadvantage to a competitor who does.

Facebook and Twitter increase your overall online visibility.

This plays an important role in your search engine optimization strategy and getting top ranked with search engines.

Facebook and Twitter also help you generate more traffic for your website – which is never a bad thing.

One of my clients gets an average of 20 visitors a week to their website from Twitter – that’s 1,040 visitor sessions a year just from Twitter!

Both Facebook and Twitter are free to use and require between two and three hours per week of effort.
